Job Description

Prestigious corporate firm in Williamsburg, VA is seeking an Administrative Assistant /  Corporate Receptionist to support the Administrator and Office Manager as well as assist the Accounting team.

Work Hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday with some overtime required.

Salary $32,000 - $42,000 and based upon experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer multi-line phone system
  • Assist clients with questions and inquires
  • Perform administrative duties utilizing Microsoft Word
  • Assist admin team and accounting team with daily and monthly report creation in Excel
  • Create, edit and format Microsoft Word and Excel documents at an intermediate to expert level
  • Run and maintain reports
  • Data Entry
  • Assist office with scanning of tax documents and maintaining paperless office environment
  • Calendar scheduling
  • Process tax returns

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred by not required
  • Minimum 2-3 years administrative experienced preferred course work in the business or accounting field will be considered
  • Ability to answer multi-line phone system
  • Must have Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Minimum 45 wpm typing
  • Previous experience working for a financial institution, CPA of accounting firm helpful
  • Successfully work in a high-paced environment with multiple interruptions
  • Prehire criminal background check and drug screen will be required
  • Ability to work overtime during busy seasons, when and if required
