Job Description

On behalf of our client, Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking Bilingual English/Vietnamese Telephone Interviewers (Work from Home). Remote Telephone Interviewers will ask questions over the phone regarding Medicare benefits. This position pays $14.50 per hour, offering at least 20 hours of work per week, and the position lasts from February 8, 2021 - May 28, 2021. Required paid training will begin January 18, 2021, and will conclude by February 6, 2021. Training will be a combination of at-home study and webinar.


As a Bilingual English/Vietnamese Telephone Interviewer, you will:
  • Contact health plan call centers across the country to help Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) evaluate healthcare compliance
  • Be on the phone the full shift and be comfortable making a high volume of calls with specific time constraints
  • Read the questions clearly and verbatim to the participant
  • Accurately record outcomes and issues

Position Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read and speak English and Vietnamese fluently
  • 6 months of customer service experience preferred; preferably in a government agency, hospitality, financial/banking, or professional office setting
  • Background check required
  • Working from home requirements:
  • Hard-wired high-speed internet service required – must be able to connect via Ethernet cable connection (within 25ft of the workspace); wireless/WIFI connection not permitted
  • Alternate telephone (i.e. cell) to use to access client systems as part of the login process and for communicating issues to physical call center
  • Proficiency with troubleshooting and using computers
  • Quiet, private space in your home to conduct work.

Hours & Training:
  • Attend and complete the required
    • Online home study beginning the week of January 18, 2021
    • Classroom or webinar training the week of February 63, 2021
  • 3 – 8 hours per shift
  • 20 – 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. No Weekend Hours required
  • Successful completion of self-study and web-based training prior to outbound calling
  • Successful completion of certification assessment (and retraining if needed)
  • Work lasts through May 28, 2021

  • Available shifts are listed below; qualified candidates must be available to work the full shift hours for the selected shift and maintain the selected shift Monday through Friday for the duration of the assignment
    • 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM Monday – Friday
    • 10:30 AM – 4:00 PM Monday - Friday
    • 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM Monday – Friday
    • 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM Monday - Friday
    • 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM Monday – Friday (English only)

  • Client to provide IT equipment and resources (laptop, headset, system access)
