Headway Hospitality is seeking experienced and detail-oriented Cashier/Servers to work for our client in the Wayne, New Jersey area! As a Cashier/Server, you will
  • Accurately complete all transactions (cash and non-cash) and return accurate change to guests
  • Count money at the beginning of each shift and document into the cashier sheet. You are held responsible for your money once confirmed
  • ​Notify management immediately, if someone is using a card other than their own
  • Assist in cleaning the dining area during and after meals by sweeping floors and wiping tables.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and fellow associates
  • Greet guests positively, treating each person as an individual and in a professional manner
  • Assist with the breakdown of dining hall station as needed
  • During slow periods, sweep and mop the entry to the Cafe. Make sure to put out caution signs
  • Complete all other duties as assigned by management
  • Cash-out with the supervisor on duty at the end of shift
  • Accurately transport food and beverages to guest promptly
  • Ensure proper stock of all products and supplies needed for service

Requirements as a Cashier/Server
  • At least 18 years of age or older
  • Hospitality and customer service experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to multi-task, work independently, and prioritize in a high stress, fast-paced environment
  • Customer service-oriented with the ability to interact with guests and all levels of management throughout the organization
  • Team player-oriented
  • Follow good hygiene
  • Available to work full-time/part-time is HIGHLY desirable

Additional Information
  • Rate of Pay: $15 per hour
  • Positions available Monday through Sunday
