Job Description

Headway Hospitality, a division of Headway Workforce Solutions, is currently seeking experienced and motivated Cashiers for our client in the Cary, NC area! As a Cashier, you will accurately complete all transactions and provide excellent customer service while adhering to all sanitation procedures. This position offers pay of $11.00 per hour. Full-Time schedules are available working 3 days a week and alternating weekends. Shift options are: 5:30 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. or 10:30 A.M. – 7:00 P.M. We are looking to start individuals immediately!


As a Cashier, you will:
  • Maintain current knowledge of daily menus and prices
  • Accurately complete all transactions (cash and non-cash) and return accurate change to guests
  • Obtain cash bank; verify accuracy at the beginning, end, and throughout a shift
  • Balance revenue drop to the end of shift reports
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and fellow associates
  • Perform as a team member and assist fellow associates to ensure a smooth operation
  • Greet guests positively, treating all guests in a professional manner
  • Prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Complete additional duties assigned by management

Requirements as a Cashier:
  • Consent to pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • Consent to TB test and Flu Shot
  • Proof of required vaccinations - to be discussed during hiring process
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • 6+ months of cash handling and cash register experience
  • Highest level of customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and problem solve proactively
  • Excellent communication with management and other team members
