Job Description

Headway is currently seeking a Client Support Specialist to join our office in Raleigh, NC! The Client Support Specialist will be a part of our Service Delivery team who delivers top-notch service to all of our clients. As a Client Support Specialist, your main role will acting as a PrismHR expert. We want you to have extensive knowledge of the PrismHR software. You will offer recommendations, support, and training to our internal Service Delivery and Operations teams, as well as our clients regarding PrismHR.

This position requires complete professionalism with a focus on PrismHR software expertise, customer support, and prompt response for any issues that may arise.


As a Client Services Specialist, you will:
  • Answer client and employee inquiries in a knowledgeable and courteous manner
  • Resolve payroll inquiries or escalates issues to proper channels
  • Assist in preparation of payroll documents
  • Maintain all confidential information in a safe format
  • Add all employee information changes, advances, salary updates, tax withholding documents, benefits deductions, direct deposit information
  • Prepare and maintains all related payroll records and reports
  • Prepare and processes I9s and E-Verify 
  • Assist in continued system training of Headway staff
  • Preform demonstrations of Headway's technology solutions to potential customers 
  • Complete all other tasks as assigned by management

Key Requirements:
  • Associate’s Degree or a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a 4-year college or university
  • Experience utilizing the PrismHR system
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • 5+ years of payroll and HR Generalist experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven administrative or assistant experience
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Outlook (Excel Proficiency Highly Preferred)
  • Knowledge or experience with other payroll systems
