Job Description

Immediate temp-hire opening available in Hampton for Experienced Customer Service Representative/Account Representative.

Position will be responsible for all aspects of customer accounts, including sales, accounts receivable, inquiries, and processing customer orders. Position will also serve as the direct contact for customers and will involve telesales and upselling of products to commercial accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 year experience in the customer service field REQUIRED
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required
  • Minimum typing speed of 35 wpm

Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to maintain and increase business with existing accounts.
  • Position will take orders and ensure delivery of product.
  • Assist customer and sales representative with inquiries or problems concerning orders.
  • Assist in the solicitation and sales of company products to new and existing customers.
  • Maintain accurate customer account information, efficient billing of all orders and maintenance of all required paperwork.
  • Process all orders received by mail, telephone or fax.
  • Provide product information.
  • Refer customer to appropriate qualified personnel in response to customer technical inquiries and/or problems.
  • Analyze and confirm past order history of key customers to identify high volume accounts and telemarket to those accounts.

Salary $12.00 - $13.00 per hour for temp-hire period. Perm salary $13.50 - $14.50 per hour.
