Job Description

Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Executive Assistant in the Newport News area to support the CEO & Executive team.

This will be a Direct Hire or temp-hire opportunity.

Hours Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 p.m.


Qualifications
  • Must have a minimum of 4-5 years’ demonstrated Executive administrative experience supporting a CEO, Vice President or other Executive staff member
  • Must demonstrate experience preparing schedules and coordinating meetings
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Must have excellent writing and proofreading skills to draft and edit correspondence on behalf of Executive staff
  • Must have ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
  • Some accounting, budget or Finance background helpful but not required

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings
  • Maintain calendar for Executive staff
  • Arrange and organize travel
  • Compose correspondence utilizing Microsoft Word
  • Create and update PowerPoint presentations
  • Prepare agendas for board meetings
  • Create and analyze Excel spreadsheets
  • Perform research and compile data for committee meetings
  • Assist Accounting department as needed
  • Must always demonstrate highest level of discretion and professionalism

Salary based upon years of executive support experience $46,000 - $56,000.
