Job Description

Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Final Operations Inspector for a contract opportunity in Winsted, CT with our partner, an energy industry leader committed to creating innovative and sustainable solutions that move the world forward.

This position maintains quality standards by visually inspecting and approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products in the aluminum and metals manufacturing industry.

The hours for this position are 3:00pm to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday and average 40 hours per week. Training will be scheduled during 1st shift, 6:30am to 3pm for the first 3 months.
This role offers $15.00 to 16.00 per hour.

As a Final Operations Inspector, you will…

  • Conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments and rejected material that does not conform to Quality Standards.
  • Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs

Job Requirements

  • High School or equivalent GED
  • Previous experience in production or manufacturing
  • Willing to consent to the performance of a background check
