Job Description

On behalf of Lexington Health Network, Headway Hospitality is seeking Food Service Workers with a positive demeanor and strong work ethic. This position is offering 25-40 hours per week, starting at $12/hour.

As a Food Service Worker, you will:
  • Assist in serving visitors to the dining hall
  • Setup/tear down event space in accordance with dining room standards
  • Clear plates, glasses, silverware, etc. from tables once guests are finished
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining area before, during, and following shift
  • Be responsible for maintaining clean and sanitized food prep equipment and dishes
  • Practice customer service and serving skills for the entirety of your shift
  • Complete all other duties as assigned by management

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
  • A team player with good communications skills
  • Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
  • Highest level of customer service and hospitality skills
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced team environment and think on your feet in any situation
  • Dedication to on-time arrival for shifts

Additional Information:
  • Uniforms will be provided by facility
  • Black, non-slip shoes are required

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
  • Must be able to handle conditions that would be expected in a kitchen environment such as varying smells, sounds, and temperatures
