Job Description

Headway Hospitality is currently seeking friendly, customer service oriented Cooks in Raleigh, NC. Headway Hospitality is Headway Workforce Solutions’ newest division. This new division specializes in serving up the best talent in the field of hospitality, food and beverage service. Headway Hospitality focuses on providing high-quality workers to clients through Headway’s proprietary recruitment, talent acquisition and workforce management practices.

Responsibilities include:
  • Follow prep list created by chefs to plan duties
  • Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
  • Prepare food to be distributed to vendors
  • Observe and practice all established health and sanitation procedures
  • Ensure all products are prepared, held and served at correct temperatures
  • Ensure the proper rotation, labeling and dating of all products
  • Excellent communication with management

  • 6 months experience in food preparation in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to interact as a team with co-workers and supervisors
  • Ability to self-direct and work under pressure
  • Background in culinary arts is a plus

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
