Job Description

Headway Workforce Solutions, in partnership with a committed, healthcare company, is seeking and recruiting Licensed Health Insurance Agents. to begin a long-term position asap that will last through the end of December or possibly extend through March 2020.

These positions are Non-Commission based opportunities and offer a guaranteed hourly salary of $21.00 per hour and a 40 hour work week. One part-time 20 hours per week position is also available.

Hours: Choose your Shift

8 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday, 9 am - 6:00 pm, 10 am - 7 or 11 am -8 Monday - Friday

As a Licensed Health Insurance Consultant, you will:

Assist staff with Open Benefits enrollment
Provide rate quotes to consumers as well as enroll eligible consumers over the phone
Provide guidance on insurance coverage
Assist with Medicare and Marketplace questions
Serve as liaison between the client and the Underwriting department to ensure applications are submitted correctly

What We Need From You:

A Valid Virginia Health Insurance License is required
Knowledge and compliance with applicable Federal, Medicare, State and Local Laws and regulations required
Previous Medicare experience preferred
Must possess excellent customer skills and ability to relate to customers well on the phone
Must have minimum typing speed of 30 wpm
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required
