Job Description

Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Marketing Consultant for a contract opportunity in Raleigh, NC. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the world’s leading suppliers of a wide range of products, solutions and services in the field of energy technology.

As a Marketing Consultant you will:
  • Work with the NAM Industry Marketing Manager & Oil & Gas, and Chemical Industry Managers to develop application solution sheets and sales tool kits for key applications for midstream, downstream, and chemicals.
  • Target: 2-3 applications per industry segment and for each application:
  • Validate the critical applications by industry segment
  • Identify and summarize customer issues and challenges by application
  • Assess how customers use measurement and analytical equipment to optimize application performance
  • Work with product managers, engineering, and service to identify all of the company IAMA product and service offerings for each application, including software/digital offerings
  • Conduct competitive analysis and assess how to best differentiate in the market
  • Quantify the benefit to the customer of company measurement & analytics solutions
  • Work with communications to develop 2-3 page application solution sheets
  • Work with industry managers & product managers to develop sales presentation on how to sell & position company solutions relative to the competition

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years’ experience in product marketing, strategic marketing, and/or engineering in the Oil, Gas & Chemical industries
  • BS Engineering and MS in engineering or MBA

Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, talk or hear
  • The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms

Additional Information:
  • This is a 6 month contract with a highly likelihood of extension, as well as the opportunity to become permanent after contract has been completed
  • 40 Hours per week
