Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Marketing Strategist to work in our corporate office in North Raleigh, NC. This role focuses on generating new inbound leads for our sales team through various methods specifically email marketing, social media marketing, and trade shows or conferences. As a Marketing Strategist, you will work directly with and for the Marketing Director, and closely with the Director of Business Development. You will be expected to be a creative leader in directing and managing aspects of marketing Headway’s services. The Marketing Strategist coordinates with the Director on most marketing activities and works to create and foster relationships with Headway customers.

As a Marketing Strategist, you will drive new inbound leads for our sales team through various methods specifically through:
  • Email marketing (HubSpot)
    • List building
    • Email writing/content
    • Measure successes
  • Content creation
    • Blog writing
    • Whitepapers
    • Case studies
    • Sales proposals
    • One-pagers
    • Videos
  • Database management (Salesforce) - understand what activities are working through data analysis, where leads come from and how they get closed, ensuring data is clean
  • Headway corporate website management
  • SEO and SEM management
  • Online advertising

Other responsibilities include:
  • Ensure overall brand consistency across all Headway brands internally and externally
  • Manage trade show activity from conception to execution
  • Provide weekly and monthly operational reporting, ensuring integrity to the process is strong and timely
  • Manage content calendar – weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly – of all upcoming marketing activities

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent marketing industry experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing or advertising
  • Strong experience writing in a marketing role, especially email marketing
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Graphic design skills, you don’t have to be an expert, but some experience is required
  • Experience marketing for a service required; marketing for a staffing/recruitment/HR organization is a huge plus
  • Experience in website management and content development
  • Able to plan and execute innovative marketing strategies
  • Excellent time management, able to balance many projects at once
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented
