Job Description

Headway Workforce Solutions, in partnership with a committed healthcare company, is seeking EXPERIENCED BILLING SPECIALISTS to assist with serving their insurance members.

Several Openings Available!

Length of Assignment - Long-Term Positions with potential for temp-hire consideration.

These positions will work on the corporate side of a healthcare company and positions are located in the Norfolk, VA area.

Salary $13 - $15.00 per hour and based upon years of experience

Responsibilities:

  • Work in a call center environment processing financial assistance applications
  • Set up payment plans
  • Take payments
  • Review and resolve statements regarding balances on their account
  • This position will work with Self-Pay accounts

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of billing experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills and prior call center experience required
  • EPIC, GECB or All script experience desired but not required
  • Previous experience working in a doctor's office, hospital or healthcare facility preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel a must
  • Minimum typing speed of 30 wpm.
