Job Description

Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Payroll Analyst for a contract opportunity in Cary, NC. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the world’s leading suppliers of a wide range of products, solutions and services in the field of energy technology.

As a Payroll Analyst, you will:
  • Payroll includes the preparation and distribution of payroll, maintenance of individual payroll records and preparation of governmental forms and reports
  • Also consists of calculating such matters as overtime, shift differentials and travel allowances and making subsequent adjustments, as applicable
  • Investigate, analyze and prepare financial and business information representing limited phases of financial operations in support of various functional groups
  • Assist in the compilation and preparation of reports, graphs and forecasts, and the analysis of trends affecting various financial activities
  • Provide financial information and analyses for a specific section of the organization, as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Strong MS Office skills needed
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required

Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, talk or hear
  • The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms

Additional Information:
  • This is a 6 month contract
  • 40 Hours per week
