Job Description

We're currently seeking a Quality Assistant for a contract opportunity in Richmond, VA. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the world’s leading suppliers of a wide range of products, solutions and services in the field of energy technology.


As a Quality Assistant, you will:
  • Follow clearly prescribed standard practices to provide general assistance to a group involved in various quality operations, procedures and document control.
  • Under specific direction, provide support and operate equipment such as computers, word processing, graphics, and occasionally, specialized quality instruments and other equipment.
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations and conduct quality operations occasionally requiring the use of relatively simple quality instruments and other equipment. Refer questionable situations or problems to supervisor or more experienced staff.
  • May be assigned to review quality activities and associated problems, under direction, and present findings to more experienced staff for analyses.
  • Complete all other tasks as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some experience in manufacturing quality/inspection is required, 2 years is preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Steel-toed shoes are required on day one.

Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, talk or hear. 
  • The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.

Additional Information:
  • This is a 6 month contract
  • 40 Hours per week
  • Work Schedule: 6:00 am-2:30 pm (Monday - Friday) plus OT
