Job Description

Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Researcher for a 6+ month contract opportunity in Columbus, OH with our partner, a private nonprofit applied science & technology development company.


Performs engineering research and analysis. Solves a range of straightforward problems. Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Performs assignments of moderate complexity by compiling and evaluating design and test data, preparing technical specifications, analyzing technical data to determine appropriate limits and variables for product, process or materials specifications.
  • Interprets, compiles and analyzes data collected and writes various technical reports.
  • Completes assigned project work within schedule and budget constraints.
  • Assists with proposal efforts as needed.
  • Builds relationships with internal clients.
  • Contributes to IRD studies.
  • Supports business development efforts led by others.
  • May oversee lower-level staff in extracting and preparing data for analysis.

Position Requirements:
  • MS 0-2 years BS 2-5 years

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to read, write, type, and use a telephone.
  • The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
