Job Description

Immediate temp-hire opportunity available in the Suffolk area for an Experienced Customer Service / Human Resources Professional.  This position will support a small business with multiple facilities with Human Resources management, purchasing, accounting  and customer service management.

Hours will be 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday -Friday

Salary will be based upon experience between $38,000 - $50,000.
 

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years Human Resources experience required
  • Prior experience in procurement or inventory management helpful
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles required
  • Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Three of more year’s cumulative experience in a people management role required
  • Strong problem solving skills and detail oriented a must
  • Must provide outstanding customer service in taking customer orders and manage the order process from start to finish
  • Prior Hazardous material training helpful

Responsibilities:

  • This role will be the first primary contact for taking customers’ orders by phone
  • Enter all orders into internal order entry program
  • Perform administrative duties for the office
  • Place orders with suppliers and transportation companies
  • Organize deliveries
  • Manage orders and issues with deliveries when needed and when last minute changes take place
  • Work with municipal bids
  • Allocate available resources to enable successful task performance
  • Establish and monitor procedures for record keeping and ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of data
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints regarding orders
  • Coordinate schedules, appointments and bookings
  • Review and approve office supply acquisitions
  • Handle all Human Resource functions for small office

Salary $40,000 and above and based upon experience
