Job Description

On behalf of our client, Headway Workforce Solutions is now accepting candidates for a 3D Printing Finisher position in the Pflugerville,TX area!

3D Printing Finisher you will……

  • Responsible for the post printing surface preparation of 3D printed parts made from various metals such as Titanium, Nickel, and Aluminum.
  • Aids in product removal from build plates through manual and automatic tools such as grinders, air tools, chisels, and hammers.
  • Prepares products for thermal treatment operations by removing support structures which aided the building process.
  • Finishes 3D printed product through the use of ultra lap style equipment and blast media cabinets.
  • Responsible for understanding and completing company work instructions and routing paperwork as well as ERP system step completions.

Qualifications:

  • Grinds, files, and sands surfaces of 3D metal printed product using a variety of hand tools and automated tools.
  • Inspects surface finishes for proper finish and defects.
  • Completes paperwork daily to move product through manufacturing.
  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand and work for long periods of time.
  • Hand finishing and tool experience/knowledge a benefit.
  • Must be able to work legally in the US.
  • Verification of employment eligibility with be required for hire.
  • Background and drug screen required prior to work start.
  • Position is subject to ITAR regulations which require US citizenship or green card.

Additional Information:

  • Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • 3-6 mth contract
