Job Description

Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking an Associate Contract Administrator for a contract opportunity in Richmond, VA with one of the nation's largest producers and transporters of energy. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and experience with an industry leader currently operating the nation's largest natural gas storage system.


As a Associate Contract Administrator you will:
  • Serve as the primary interface with private solar customers (net metering customers) seeking to interconnect behind-the-meter solar and other forms of distributed generation (DG) to the electric distribution grid.
  • Manage expectations and respond to inquiries from customers as net metering requests proceed through the interconnection process.
  • Coordinate the study of interconnection requests through direct contact with multiple technical departments within the Company such that interconnection agreements are developed in a timely manner.

Qualifications:
  • 0 - 2 years experience.
  • General knowledge and understanding of technical aspects of the industry.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities, resources and time.
  • Proficient personal computer skills and understanding of software applications, such as Microsoft Excel and Access is preferred.

Additional Information:
  • Mon - Fri
  • Hours are 8 am - 5 pm
  • This is an 11+ month contract
