On behalf of our client, Headway Workforce Solutions is now accepting applications for a Automation Engineer, in our Bloomsburg, PA area! 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that automated manufacturing processes are developed and implemented to support all plant performance and objectives, which includes; safety, quality and cost reduction.    
  • Provide specialized technical expertise in the application, use of control, automation technology and manufacturing.
  • Knowledge & ability to use the execution system (MES) for plant facilities and processes.
  • Support the integration elements for the manufacturing strategy such as; planning, budgeting, and product quality. 
  • Perform/direct the design, development, installation, cost control and evaluation of complex engineering projects.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, planning and other various departments. 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Information Technology from an accredited institution.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.(employment eligibility will be required upon hire). 
  • Familiar with programming VB. Net, C#, ASP. Net, Java, Microsoft SQL Server, MS Reporting services and Network management.
  • Experience with software programs for robots, rockwell automation, siemens, or similar control and automation products.
  • Device integration experience via serial, TCP/IP and proprietary protocols.

Hours: 8am-5pm   Payrate: $30.00/hour
