Job Description

Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Business Process Analyst for a 12+ month contract opportunity in Richmond, VA, with one of the nation's largest producers and transporters of energy. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and experience with an industry leader currently operating the nation's largest natural gas storage system.


As a Business Process Analyst, you will be expected to:
  • Provide telecommunications circuit ordering support.
  • Place orders for new leased telecommunications circuits and place orders for changes or disconnection of leased circuits, under the direction of the supervisor.
  • Manage circuit orders to completion.
  • Update circuit documentation in various tracking systems.
  • Review billing and accounting issues.
  • Order, track and coordinate Telco special construction projects.
  • Coordinate installation of Telco service entrance cable.

Requirements:
  • Basic knowledge of telecommunications circuits including – Ethernet, MPLS, DS0, DS1, DS3, PRI, POTS, FIOS.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple project teams simultaneously.
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, Sharepoint, Power Point and Visio.
  • Ability to multi-task and be effective in a high volume, fast paced environment.
  • Ability to proactively manage 40+ assignments / telecommunications leased circuit orders.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Able to develop project management skills and to handle multiple tasks.
  • Must exhibit strong customer service skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to sit for the majority of the shift.
  • Must be able to read, write, and use a telephone.

Additional Information:
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
  • This is a 12+ month contract.
  • This is an entry or developmental level position.
