Job Description

Headway Workforce Solutions is screening applicants on behalf of Ferguson Enterprises for a temporary contract position assisting their Operations Credit Department.


Based upon performance there is permanent opportunity in other roles within the organization once this contract term has been completed.

Hours will be 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

•    Call vendors to obtain correct fax or mailing information
•    Fax requests for references to vendors
•    Follow-up on vendor reference information
•    Maintain database of vendor fax and phone numbers
•    Review credit memos for completeness and accuracy
•    Verify product has been received
•    Deny credits when appropriate
•    Data entry of cash receipts when checks are received
•    Document all discrepancies clearly
•    Run cash receipts journal  log
•    Complete deposit slips

Qualifications:

•    Previous accounting or vendor credit experience helpful
•    Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel Required
•    Must excel in customer service and enjoy interaction with others
•    Must have ability to work effectively with deadlines and in fast-paced environment
•    Ability to present a positive phone presence
•    Basic computer skills and 35 wpm typing
