Job Description

Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Data Entry Specialist for a temp to hire opportunity in Asheville, NC with our partner, one of the leading providers of document / electronic content management services and solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Review documentation accurately
  • Research information via computer programs provided by client.
  • Handle confidential information with high integrity.
  • Prepare, screen, route, file, and distribute report and record by performing the following duties.
  • Entering applications, reviews, and criteria not connected with immediately determining eligibility for benefits in NC Fast.
  • Entering data and updating non-eligibility, client information in NC Fast.
  • Researching duplicate client information.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • OR one to three months related experience and/or training
  • OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Information:
  • Temp to hire
  • 35-40 hours per week
  • 8:30 am - 5:00 pm during training (first two weeks) then converts to 9 am - 5:30 pm shift (M-F)

Physical Demands:
  • Employee is required to talk and hear, and use hands to finger keyboard, telephone, and handle other objects.
  • The employee is frequently required to walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Vision required for this job includes close vision (clear vision within 20 inches).
