Job Description

In light of our client’s recent expansion to their site, Headway Workforce Solutions is now accepting new applicants in the Seattle/Kent, Washington area for Immediate Hire on  Second Shift Fabricator positions!

Fabrication Duties Will Include:

  • Identify material by part number and product finish.
  • Tend fabricating machines such as brakes, presses, and forming, spinning, and punch-out machines to form industrial doors and frames
  • Load and unload materials onto [or from] pallets, trays, racks, shelves, or machinery by hand.
  • Install casters and stack standard rails according to job and shipping date.
  • Knowledge and ability to follow the MDR scrap material processes.

Physical Demands

Applicants must acknowledge that physical demands are required to successfully fulfill this position. Fabricators will stand for 90% of the shift, have to lift 40lbs or 1/3rd of their body-weight, and properly wear any required protective eyewear/clothing. 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to read, comprehend, write, and analyze information.
  • Ability to count, add, subtract, and multiply simple numbers including measuring to 1/32nd of an inch.
  • Ability to handle and respond to minor problems in standard work situations.
  • Applicants must have reliable transportation per public transportation being discouraged for this shift.
  • No manufacturing / warehouse experience required.

Hours:                   2:30PM – 11:00PM (Second Shift)

Pay Rate:             $16.25 / hourly
