Job Description

Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Janitor for a temp to hire opportunity in Raleigh, NC with our partner, a local textile company.

Job Description:
  • Position reports to the Plant and/or Maintenance Manager and is responsible for plant cleaning and assisting maintenance staff where needed.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assists maintenance staff in areas needed as directed by the maintenance manager.
  • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and polishes floors and hallways.
  • Empties trash and garbage containers.
  • Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, changing light bulbs, emptying trash bins, moving furniture, and replacing toilet paper and hand towels, etc.
  • Performs plant blow down.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
  • High School education or GPA equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of related work experience.

Working Conditions:
  • Plant configuration sometimes demands that position work in tight quarters, around steam lines and in hot dusty conditions.

Physical Demands:
  • Position requires high physical agility and strength.

  • This is a temp to hire opportunity.
  • Available schedules: Hours are (1) Sun-Weds 8 am - 6:30 pm / (1) Weds-Sat 8 am - 6:30 pm
  • Pay rate is $9.28/hr.
