Job Description

Headway Hospitality is currently seeking Kitchen Staff in Raleigh, NC. Headway Hospitality is Headway Workforce Solutions’ newest division. This new division specializes in serving up the best talent in the field of hospitality, food and beverage service. Headway Hospitality focuses on providing high-quality workers to clients through Headway’s proprietary recruitment, talent acquisition and workforce management practices.


General Kitchen Staff positions include*:
  • Prep Cooks
  • Line Cooks
  • Event Dishwashers
  • Kitchen Supervisors

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
  • A team player with good communications skills
  • Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
  • Highest level of customer service and hospitality skills
  • Ability to function well in a fast paced team environment and think on your feet in any situation
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Dedication to on-time arrival for shifts

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
  • Must be able to handle conditions that would be expected in a kitchen environment such as varying smells, sounds, and temperatures.

CHoPS will teach valuable skills to participants in a three-part certification series with classes in separate complementary and important topics. This unique certification process will prepare workers in the basic skills necessary in the hospitality sector.
