Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Marketing Director for a direct hire opportunity in Garner, NC. This is a great opportunity to work with our partner, one of the leading providers of farm equipment and supplies.

As a Marketing Director, you will:
  • Lead the marketing team in creating strategic marketing campaigns through well-coordinated use of different methods intended to drive customers to multi-channels including retail.
  • Develop integrated multi-touch campaigns to drive demand and target specific markets.
  • Collaboratively develop holistic plans that encompass both strategy and tactics directed at specific audiences via multiple promotion channels to include eCommerce, catalog, email, retail, social media, and events.
  • Develop short and long term vision, strategy and planning for the growth of marketing channels
  • Partner closely with other departments such as Operations, EHS, and Purchasing to develop and execute strategies.
  • Communicate how marketing programs impact revenue, understand key metrics, and deliver analyses as needed.
  • Manage all company brands with the goal of driving customer loyalty, increase profitability and sales.
  • Build relationships with internal and external partners that facilitate cross functional collaboration.
  • Directs a high performing marketing team. Selects, coaches, motivates, conducts performance evaluations, and identifies development and growth opportunities.
  • Develops work goals and objectives for the department in accordance and alignment with company goals;provides leadership, measures and feedback, and motivation for employee achievement of departmental goals.
  • Visit retail location annually and coordinate Marketing goals and objectives with retail Store Managers.
  • Manage and approve all marketing budgets.
  • Maintain thorough understanding of regulatory compliance as it relates to marketing and advertising.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Directly manages 2-5 positions within the Marketing Department and 1 Ecommerce Department Manager.
  • Indirectly manages 3 Ecommerce employees.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Plans, assigns, and directs work; evaluates performance; rewards and disciplines employees; addresses complaints and resolves problems.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Marketing leader with expertise in all aspects of marketing communications and channel marketing.
  • Creative and strategic results-oriented leader with strong strategic thinking, planning and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead both direct teams and cross functional teams toward a common goal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and prioritize with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong communicator who understands the importance of leadership through consensus, and who values and is good at partnering and relationship building.
  • Position requires some travel (up to 25%).

Educational Requirements and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in business, marketing communications or other relevant field of study; and 10+ years related experience including 3+ years demonstrated leadership.
