Job Description

On behalf of a St. Paul based market research firm, Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking experienced part-time Telephone Interviewer in Saint Paul, MN. This market research firm provides qualitative and quantitative research for companies across the country - specifically phone/online/mail surveys, in depth interviews, and focus groups. The call center offers a fast-paced professional environment with a strong commitment to quality and service to our clients. Pay rate is $13.50/hr. Project is scheduled to last 4 weeks. Start date: Monday, January 14th.

As an Outbound Call Center Data Collector, you will be responsible for conducting surveys over the telephone with individuals throughout the country and collecting the data. The ideal candidate must have phone experience, preferably outbound, a pleasant phone manner, detail oriented, comfortable with computers, honest, and reliable.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Call and engage respondents
  • Read survey questions verbatim
  • Record responses verbatim
  • Track phone calls
  • Strive to maintain daily productivity quotas
  • Provide support and assistance with other projects if needed
  • All other duties as assigned

  • Experience working with a script
  • Must have call center experience
  • Outbound phone experience is a plus
  • Great phone presence
  • Excellent English written, verbal, and communication skills
  • Keyboarding / typing skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor

  • Monday- Friday 9 am-1 pm 
  • Start date: Monday, January 14th
  • Monday- Thursday 5 pm-9 pm 
  • Start date: Monday, January 21st

Additional Information:
  • Position pays $13.50 / hour
  • Project is scheduled to last 4 weeks. Strong performers may be offered additional work.

Physical Requirements:
  • The Telephone Interviewer must be able to speak, hear, see, read, write, type, dial, reach, sit and bend
  • Must be able to remain seated while on the phone for up to 6 hours
  • Speaking — Talking to others to convey information effectively
  • Reading Comprehension — Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
  • Read text verbatim from a computer screen
  • Be exposed to fumes and odors as might be expected in any indoor environment
