Headway Workforce Solutions is partnering with Glover Corporation to fill a Packaging and Filling Machine Operator role in Raleigh, NC. Glover Corporation is a family-owned commercial printing company in Raleigh, NC. They have been around for over 50 years. As a Packing and Filling Machine Operator, you will ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards. This position will provide the successful candidate with the chance to apply their knowledge, learn new skills and work as a team within a clean and safe environment. This role offers $9.50 / hour to start (with increases after 30 days) and is full-time.


As a Packaging and Filling Machine Operator, you will…
  • Operate or tend machines to prepare products for storage and shipment
  • Remove finished packaged items from machine and separate rejected items
  • Regulate machine flow, speed, or temperature
  • Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions
  • Perceive the production line ahead of you to anticipate errors and make adjustments as needed to prevent slowing down more than necessary
  • Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
  • Maintain a safe and clean work space
  • Follow established safety rules and regulations

Qualifications
  • At least 18 years or older
  • Machine operation experience is a plus
  • Committed to quality, safety and communication
  • Team-oriented and self-directed
  • Able to work full-time hours
  • Able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds and stand for an eight-hour work shift
