Job Description

Headway Workforce Solutions is seeking experienced Field Interviewers to work on a 8 week research study. Field Interviewers must be comfortable conducting business to business interviews. 

Field Interviewers will arrive to pre-scheduled appointments at business locations and will conduct interviews relating to construction machinery, equipment, and materials. 

We are looking for individuals with who can successfully conduct interviews (mainly in-depth face-to-face) in the industrial sector.  Experience conducting face to face interviews is required. Experience conducting business to business interviews, especially in the industrial sector, is preferred. This position offers $100 per completed interview and is a permanent, part-time assignment. Work hours are variable, and will be offered depending on the business need and Interviewer flexibility.

Key Responsibilities of the Field Interviewer:
  • Prior market research, survey research, interviewing, data collection, or related professional experience
  • Coordinate interviewing schedules with the Market Research Recruiter
  • Provide availability 2 weeks ahead of time, so that the Market Research Recruiter is able to schedule interviews accordingly. Flexible availability during standard business hours is a requirement
  • Travel to customer locations to conduct 1-2 hour long pre-scheduled interviews
  • Electronically enter the survey data upon arriving home from the interview

Job Requirements:
  • Conduct valid, high quality in person interviews in compliance with all project protocols 
  • Ability to complete all required activities in a professional manner, while maintaining the integrity of all information acquired
  • Adhere to project deadlines for completing interviews and reporting progress
  • Regular access to internet connection for data transmissions
  • Valid Driver’s License, automobile insurance, and personal reliable transportation to be used for business purposes 
  • Access to a printer to print out copies of the paper & pencil survey prior to all scheduled interviews. 
  • Pass required background check 

Physical Demands:
  • Frequent local travel to respondent locations
  • Be outside and exposed to all types of weather
  • Be exposed to fumes and odors as might be expected in varied environments
  • Communicate through speech and listening
  • Read text verbatim from a notebook or computer screen
  • Transport equipment, and materials weighing between 5-10 lbs depending on your assignment
