Job Description

Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist for a contract opportunity in Lake Mary, FL. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the world’s leading suppliers of a wide range of products, solutions and services in the field of energy technology.

As an Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist, you will:
  • Daily processing of Accounts Payables for projects – receive and match invoices to purchase orders, review invoices for discrepancies, contact vendors to reconcile.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders if additional information is necessary.
  • Establish and maintain filing systems for vendor and customer invoicing documentation.
  • Track project milestone payment schedule and submit invoices to the customers on time.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma and 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role with accounts receivable/payable experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel with ability to demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Efficient and effective multi-tasker.
  • Strong organizational and follow up skills; with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, talk or hear. 
  • The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.

Additional Information:
  • This is a 6 month contract
  • 40 Hours per week
