Job Description

Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Process Assistant II for a 12+ month contract opportunity in Richmond, VA, with one of the nation's largest producers and transporters of energy. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and experience with an industry leader currently operating the nation's largest natural gas storage system.


As a Process Assistant II, you will:
  • Perform a variety of routine clerical and administrative duties that support specific workflow or phase within a business process, under immediate supervision.
  • Be accountable for transaction of part(s) of business process.
  • Follow established policy and procedures and detailed instructions in performance of duties. Routines are generally prescribed and supervision is readily available.
  • Performs clerical duties according to established routines including: setting up comprehensive records and files, preparing standard reports and charts, compiling data from various sources and forms, contacting other departments to obtain information and reconcile routine discrepancies, performing calculations involving complicated arithmetic, etc.                                                                                                                  
  • Make minor corrections, code items, and maintain a record of documents processed.
  • Inform departments of missing or incorrect data.
  • Utilize computerized equipment and other related equipment. Scanning paper document to digital format.
  • Enter data in our client's Work Management Information System (WMIS) and verifying for accuracy.

Requirements:
  • Able to manage multiple activities and resources.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with computer skills: using spreadsheet and word processing applications and SAP.
  • Basic knowledge of company and department procedures.
  • Basic analytical and problem solving skills.

Physical Requirements:
  • Able to sit for the majority of the shift.
  • Able to read, write, and use a telephone.

Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Additional Information:
  • Schedule is somewhat flexible: Flex 9 schedule is an option where contractor would work Monday thru Thursday (9 hour days) and off Friday and the next week would be Monday thru Thursday (9 hour days) and Friday (8 hour day). 5 - 8 hours days is an option also.
  • Our client will provide a parking permit.
  • This is a 12+ month contract.
