Job Description

On behalf of our client, Headway Workforce Solutions is now accepting applications for Quality Control Inspectors in Winsted, CT for various shifts. This wonderful opportunity is perfect for anyone wanting to gain knowledge as an in-depth inspector! 

Job Functions: 

  •  Responsible for conducting visual, measurement testing for a final in-depth inspection, and assuring that manufactured items are made, assembled correctly before signing off and approving the product.
  • Providing great products that meet government standards and safety regulations.
  • Examines material goods on production line, with approval or rejection based on the item final quality.
  • Work with manufacturing professionals during the process and in-process production. 
  • Documents inspection results using reports and logs.
  • Makes timely and accurate decisions when inspecting parts, as this role can have a direct impact on production schedules. 

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Some College preferred.
  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; push or pull with proper equipment.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 10lbs-25lbs. 
  • Specific vision abilities required such as; close vision, color vision and able to adjust your focus.

 

Hours: 2nd Shift (3:00-11:30pm) or 3rd Shift (11:30pm-7:30am) with possible over time!!! 

Pay rate: $15.00-$16.00/hour (Based upon experience)
