Job Description

On behalf of our client, Headway Workforce Solutions is now accepting applications for a Shipper, in the Hanover MD, area! 

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the receiving, storing, shipping, control of materials and goods used.
  • Packing and labeling of built items.
  • Receiving, recording and distribution of incoming materials and hardware. 
  • Check material against orders and visually inspect incoming materials.
  • Preparation of bills, lading, shipping records, proper box marking and other shipping.
  • Assist with loading/unloading of trucks.
  • Required to handle light  administrative task  such as; light tying, preparing shipping orders and creating labels.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma or GED Equivalent.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs.

  • Visa sponorship is not available for this position.  

     Pay Rate: $18.50/hour          Hours: 8AM-5PM
