Job Description

On behalf of our client, Headway Workforce Solutions is now accepting applications for a Tech I, in the New Kensington PA, area!

Job Duties:

  • Operate equipment including, but not limited to, powder process equipment, batching, mixing, furnaces, kilns and electrolytic cells.

  • Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other mobile equipment as needed.

  • Manufacture parts and prepare, test samples using laboratory equipment.

  • Responsible for maintenance, repair, recording, documenting results and systematic observations.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED Equivalent or trade school in mechanical/electrical studies. 
  • Must have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Experience in operations of mobile equipment and/or machinery. 
  • Ability to perform material handling, weighing, completing process steps in sequence, and documenting process data.
  • Basic computer skills & application software; MS Outlook, Excel and Access.

Candidate is required to work from 7AM-3:30PM, some overtime will be available.  

Pay Rate: $15.00/hour
