Job Description

Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Warehouse Inventory Control Associate for a 1+ month contract opportunity in London, OH, with our partner, one of the leading applied science and technology development companies.


As a Warehouse Inventory Control Associate, you will:
  • Maintain regular onsite work schedule.
  • Obtain and maintain any background checks as required
  • Pay close attention to detail when completing warehouse tasks.
  • Verify materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
  • Count, or sort, stock to verify receipt of items on requisitions, or invoice.
  • May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
  • Examine stock to verify conformance to specific data.
  • May enter data into warehouse management systems to maintain 100% accountability of assets.
  • May mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles. May distribute stock among production workers using hand trucks or dollies.
  • Maintain cleanliness of warehouse area.
  • Comply with fire and safety regulations
  • Wear required safety equipment at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • No prior experience is necessary.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be to be able to hear alarms such as forklift bells, fire alarms or inclement weather sirens.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time; walk; and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds, frequently move up to forty (40) pounds and occasionally may lift, push, pull and/or move more than one hundred (100) pounds with assistance.
  • Must be able to see for close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision in the warehouse environment.

Additional Information:
  • This is a 1+ month contract.
  • Hours are M-F, 40 hours per week.
